This one sprang out of the title. After naming Gnosiosynthesis, the concept of the title Tesserasynthesis came to me. (Ideally a track with a title that similar would be a sequel, but I can't say that part worked out.)
For that title to work the way I wanted it to, it had to be a jazzy sort of detective mystery track, but featuring synths. A synthier variant of jazz noir, if you will, though I'm not sure how much I met that goal. Genres are hard.
Téssera means four in Greek, so it's rather ironic that this wound up my first track that isn't in 4/4 time.
I'll leave figuring out what "Tesserasynthesis" has to do with detective work as an exercise for the listener.
